Featured Hydronic Heating Projects

This project involved a comprehensive retrofit hydronic installation featuring new Uponor piping, radiators, and towel rails, along with an upgrade to a smart thermostat. We established an entirely new pipe network beneath the house, ensuring insulation and meticulous routing through crawl space access, while connecting each emitter through precision-drilled floor penetrations.

Following the installation, the system was commissioned, treated with an inhibitor for corrosion protection, and fully certified in accordance with VBA compliance.

This project integrated an existing hydronic upgrade with a proposed double-storey extension, necessitating a versatile multi-zone design.

Distinct heating zones were established, allowing the home to independently manage various areas through dedicated thermostats. The current underfloor system underwent flushing and was enhanced with a MagnaClean filter to boost long-term performance and minimize sludge accumulation.

This comprehensive new build installation encompassed five distinct heating zones throughout the home, seamlessly integrating underfloor heating, hot water, and a striking designer panel feature zone.

The MiniTec system facilitated a remarkably low-profile installation by utilizing 12mm sheets with embedded piping and a sleek self-leveling finish, resulting in an overall height of approximately 15mm.

This staged installation commenced early in the construction process, involving the embedding of underfloor heating circuits into the screed and the preliminary installation of mains pipework for future system integration.

Subsequent phases comprised comprehensive system commissioning, the installation of radiators, and the finalization of the plant room employing Rehau piping systems for enduring reliability.
